The normal people find great opportunities inside a cruise. From my point of view, they are just wasting their time somehow, because the same opportunities can be found in the mainland at a highly reduced price. Of course, cruise companies need to make their business, but there are thousands of cruise experiences you could have if you simply stayed out of the cage.
Simple and easy, I do like cruises, but not because of the activities driven inside, but for what you can feel outside. If you take a look at a normal cruise at night, you'll find everybody inside, warm, well-dressed and probably the half of them will be drunk and looking to persuade that good-looking female that dances so erotically.
Great for them. Given the point that I don't drink (probably because I'm already too crazy as to do so), there are many things that this lovers of the inside nightlife are missing outside. One of the great cruise experiences is the one you find when going to the top floor of the ship, outside on the deck, and you open your arms and face the wind. Everything is black around and you can only see the white of the water hitting the vessel. If you are lucky, the moon could be on the sky and give the whole scene an enchanted light.
Call me strange, but people seems to do not longer find anything good from this. People feels cold, gets bored, wants fun and drink... and they seem to forget that they are sailing on a boat across the deep sea at night with the powerful waves hitting here and there. In general, we seem to forget that we are animals in the end and that the most relaxing experience we can ever have is to be in contact with nature. Unfortunately, human kind seems to be every day further from its origins, and I believe there is a lot to worry about that.
As one of the best cruise experiences, and if you are one of those who normally stays inside, I definitely recommend you to come with me and try this. You have nearly seduced that lady there you say? OK, go ahead...
